Our dinner menu features classic dishes and exciting new flavors, all inspired by Helsinki!
You can build your meal traditionally with a starter, main course, and dessert — or enjoy several smaller delights.
We recommend making a dinner reservation, but we also keep some seats available for walk-in guests.
We don’t have a dedicated children’s menu, but many of our dishes can be served in smaller portions for children under 12 at half price. Ask us for recommendations!
Marga's Brunch
The perfect start to your Saturday – from Marga’s brunch straight into the day’s plans. A light, sparkling moment that easily becomes the highlight of your week.
Marga serves brunch on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. Come whenever it suits you – some arrive early for a long, leisurely breakfast, others a bit later to enjoy a slow lunch vibe.
Price €32 per person.
Sparkling wine brunch €38 per person.
Children under 2 eat free,
children aged 3–10 at half price.

For lunch, we offer a generous salad bar and a daily changing main course served at the table.
Coffee and tea are included in the price.
By pre-order, we also serve a 3-course business lunch.
Marga's bar
Marga has not one, but two bars! The main bar in the dining hall functions as a café during the day and turns into a lively wine bar in the evening.
Our Unioninkatu entrance bar serves cocktails and other cold drinks from afternoon until late at night.
You can also enjoy dinner at the bar if the dining hall is full or if you prefer the bar’s relaxed vibe.
Group Dining at Restaurant Marga
Welcome to Restaurant Marga, nestled in the historic main hall of the Kiseleff building, just steps from Senate Square in central Helsinki. This elegant venue offers a unique blend of history, architecture, and Helsinki-inspired cuisine.
Our spacious main hall seats up to 100 guests, making it an excellent choice for group dinners and private events. For more intimate gatherings, we offer private dining rooms both on the ground floor and in our charming upstairs balcony.
The mezzanine-level cabinets accommodate 8–30 guests, perfect for tailor-made group menus, celebrations, or business dinners in a quiet, realxed or more formal setting.
Need more space? As part of Sofia Helsinki’s event offering, we also provide access to stunning venues:
Sonck Hall: a grand, light-filled space for 130–350 guests.
Lyhty Hall: a characterful venue ideal for 25–100 guests.

Story
Marga, who?
Our restaurant is named after Marga Kiseleff, whose grandfather, merchant Fjodor Kiseleff, gave his surname to the building and redesigned it into its current form in 1822.
Fjodor’s son, Konstantin, later became Helsinki’s chief architect.
Konstantin married Sofia Rüdiger, and they had a daughter named Marga.
Marga was an artist, a teacher, and a well-traveled individual who studied in Paris — she likely knew how to enjoy life!
