We offer Helsinki-inspired flavors, from classic dishes to delightful new creations from our kitchen! The restaurant has over 200 seats across two floors, including five mezzanine cabinets available for private use.
Two bars serve a variety of cold and hot drinks, and the wine selection is curated to add some fun to your evening!

For lunch, we offer a generous salad bar and a daily changing main course served at the table.
Coffee and tea are included in the price.
By pre-order, we also serve a 3-course business lunch.
Our dinner menu features classic dishes and exciting new flavors, all inspired by Helsinki!
You can build your meal traditionally with a starter, main course, and dessert — or enjoy several smaller delights.
We recommend making a dinner reservation, but we also keep some seats available for walk-in guests.
We don’t have a dedicated children’s menu, but many of our dishes can be served in smaller portions for children under 12 at half price. Ask us for recommendations!
Marga has not one, but two bars! The main bar in the dining hall functions as a café during the day and turns into a lively wine bar in the evening.
Our Unioninkatu entrance bar serves cocktails and other cold drinks from afternoon until late at night.
You can also enjoy dinner at the bar if the dining hall is full or if you prefer the bar’s relaxed vibe.
From Birthdays to Business Celebrations!
Restaurant Marga is located in the historic main hall of the Kiseleff building, which once housed Stockmann’s department store.
Our main hall offers about 100 seats, with private dining cabinets available both on the ground floor and on the balcony upstairs.
The upstairs balcony cabinets provide an intimate setting for groups of 8–30 guests, ideal for customized dinners and celebrations.
Additionally, the building includes stunning event spaces as part of Sofia Helsinki’s offerings, such as the spacious and bright Sonck Hall (for 130–350 guests) and Lyhty Hall (for 25–100 guests).
Our restaurant is named after Marga Kiseleff, whose grandfather, merchant Fjodor Kiseleff, gave his surname to the building and redesigned it into its current form in 1822.
Fjodor’s son, Konstantin, later became Helsinki’s chief architect. Konstantin married Sofia Rüdiger, and they had a daughter named Marga.
Marga was an artist, a teacher, and a well-traveled individual who studied in Paris — she likely knew how to enjoy life!
